My Journey
At one point in my life, the concepts of awakening, spiritual growth, and mysticism were very unfamiliar to me. I had no awareness of ancient traditions, sacred practices and ceremonies, plant medicines, and breathwork let alone the power they have to help peel back the layers of conditioning I had absorbed, untangle my ancestral patterns, and break free from the limitations of my habitual mind.
I never could have envisioned a journey that would take me to the core of my authentic self, revealing deep joy, my hidden soul gifts, and states of connection that once seemed fantasy. These practices have not only expanded my sense of what’s possible—they have grounded me in an understanding of who I am and how I am meant to show up in the world.
Ten years ago, my life was turned upside down when my husband passed away, leaving me widowed with two young children, ages 8 and 11. I was lost—drowning in grief, struggling to navigate the roles of both mother and father, and questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. Amid the chaos, a deeper truth emerged: I didn’t know who I was. My authentic self had been buried beneath layers of conditioning, expectations, and societal ideals for most of my life.
Growing up in Tasmania, Australia, I had always felt deeply connected to the Earth and the nurturing energy of Pachamama. This connection shaped me profoundly, but within the noise of life, I had drifted away from this very important connection. I was a high school sports captain, an Ironman finisher, and a director of operations in the outdoor industries. I married, built a successful career, and checked off all the boxes that seemed essential for my happiness. Yet, despite it all, I felt an aching void inside.
My husband’s death shattered the carefully constructed facade of my life, forcing me to rebuild not just my external reality but my inner world. I made the difficult decision to leave my dream job and embark on a journey of healing and rediscovery—not only for my children but for myself.
I walked away from my ski area career and began immersing myself in ancient mystic traditions. I studied the ways of the shaman, intuitive healing, plant medicines, and breathwork. Through these teachings, I started to reconnect with the Earth and myself in ways I had long forgotten. The wild bush of Tasmania had been my first teacher, and now, Pachamama’s energy once again grounded and guided me, reminding me of the transformative power of stillness, connection, and listening.
Through these sacred practices, I found myself again. I wandered through forests, climbed walls of rock, swam in lakes, talked and cried to the trees, and opened myself to the wisdom of the natural world. I meditated, prayed, and listened deeply to the whispers of Spirit. These experiences rekindled a connection to the Divine, awakening a part of me that had been dormant for most of my life.
These years of transformation have been anything but easy. Yet they taught me to embrace my gifts, my calling, and the truth of who I am. It has been a journey back to myself—guided by immense grief, deep love, and the unwavering support of the Earth beneath my feet. Every day I continue to walk the path toward wholeness. I am forever a student.

My Teachers
As my inner exploration began, something began to unfold: my teachers found me. They appeared precisely when I needed them most.
Spirit Bird, my Shamanic Guide and Earth Embodiment Plant Medicine Teacher, was the first to cross my path. Meeting her felt like an initiation into a world that I already deeply knew. The awakening of my gifts under her guidance were unexpected and profound—but it felt so much like home, as though I had returned to a place I had always belonged.
My somatic psychedelic facilitator teachers at The Embody Lab helped me deepen my connection to the body and subconscious, teaching me to guide others through their inner journeys with a trauma-informed approach to Somatic Psychedelic Facilitation. And Adrienne Rivera, my incredible breathwork teacher at Breath of Gold, opened my eyes to the limitless power of the breath as a transformative portal for healing.
Each of these teachers has been a key to unlocking and embodying my purpose, showing me how to guide others on their paths of awakening and transformation.
